UNIT 40

Unit 40 is a 2005 Ford F-250 XL and was placed into service in June 2005 as a support vehicle, and to be used to bring members to and from the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks Connecticut.

In the winter months Unit 40 responds during snow storms to medical calls in district to plow long driveways, so that EMS personnel may enter with the ambulance.
